Common questions

As a guide, commercial systems run from around $28,000 for a 30kW system up to several hundred thousand dollars for 500kW and larger. The exact figure depends on roof type, switchboard upgrades, meter changes and whether battery storage is included. We cost every kilowatt in a written proposal before you commit.

Most well-designed commercial systems in South Australia pay for themselves in roughly 3.5 to 4.5 years, then keep saving for the 25-year life of the panels. Businesses with high daytime load, such as cold storage or manufacturing, often sit at the shorter end.

Yes. Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or commercial finance you can install a system with little or no capital outlay and pay from the energy savings, so the project can cash-flow positively from day one. We model both options so you can compare them against buying outright.

As a rough rule, every 100 square metres of usable roof supports around 15kW of solar. We do a proper roof inspection to confirm orientation, shading, structural capacity and switchboard headroom before finalising system size.

It depends on your load shape and tariff. Batteries make the strongest case where you have high peak-demand charges or significant evening load. We model battery scenarios alongside solar-only so you can see the difference in payback before deciding.

Most commercial installs are completed in a few days to a couple of weeks on site, depending on system size, roof access and switchboard works. The design, approvals and grid application stage beforehand typically takes a few weeks.

Yes. We manage the SA Power Networks application and connection approval as part of the project, along with the metering changes required to export or monitor your system.

Panels typically carry a 25-year performance warranty, inverters usually 5 to 10 years (often extendable), and we back the installation workmanship. Exact terms depend on the components specified for your system and are set out in your proposal.

We do. Full manufacturer and workmanship warranties are registered and managed on your behalf. If anything ever needs attention, we liaise with the supplier and handle the repair or replacement so you are not left chasing it.

Yes. Our commercial systems are CEC and SAA accredited, and our electricians are fully licensed and insured. You get commercial-grade design and workmanship backed by the right credentials.

No. Design and installation are handled by our own in-house Adelaide team, never subcontracted interstate, so one team owns your project from the first site assessment through to handover and support.

We install Tier-1 solar panels, premium inverters from Sungrow, Fronius and Enphase, and we are certified to design and install Tesla Powerwall battery storage. Components are matched to your load and site, not picked off a price list.

We install and service commercial solar across Adelaide metro and regional South Australia, including the CBD, northern and western industrial estates, the southern manufacturing belt, the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley.
